Goalposts of 60 days and 250 days are fitted to the observed NASA POWER distribution for 2024. Highland northern provinces such as Mae Hong Son and Chiang Rai record 60 to 100 days at or above 35°C; the hottest central plain and northeast provinces (Nakhon Pathom 150, Suphan Buri 146) approach 200 to 250 in extreme years. Heat index is conceptually preferred but is not available consistently across the source grid.
