Fitted to the Thai provincial distribution

Goalposts of 30 minutes and 360 minutes are fitted to the observed Thai distribution. Bangkok core, Phuket island, and central Chiang Mai sit within thirty minutes of a major international airport; remote provinces such as Mae Hong Son, Bueng Kan, and parts of Yasothon and Nan reach four-to-seven-hour drives. Domestic-only airports are excluded so that the score reflects access to international service rather than local connectivity.

Live distribution: 6 of 77 provinces clip at the score-100 ceiling ; 16 of 77 clip at the score-0 floor.

Reading the columns. Raw value the actual measurement in min drive. Score normalized 0–100 against fixed methodology goalposts (not a percentile). Lower is better. Why ties? 6 provinces share the score-100 ceiling because their raw values meet or exceed the upper goalpost. 16 share the score-0 floor at the lower goalpost. Provinces beyond the goalposts aren't separated further — that's the trade-off for fixed, year-over-year comparable scoring instead of percentiles.
